Bang&Olufsen Beogram 3000 with pick up system SP12
One of the most beautiful turntable ever made in great condition with best pick up for the model! A top model from the 1974, Beogram 3000 Type 5228 with rosewood sides.  Very well preserved, the wood panels looks like new, very small signs of wear, platter is mint, the lid is polished, have no big scratches and cracks, working spring hinges.  Despite the sophisticated look, the TT is quite heavy, nearly 10kg. 
Beogram 3000 achieves a higher level of quality though, and this is mainly due to its improved acoustic isolation. The floating subchassis is loaded with a large diecast block whose considerable mass, in combination with the springs and dampers that supported it, stop vibrations reaching the platter and pickup.  It is fitted with an SP 12A pick-up cartridge which have an elliptical naked diamond stylus, with a stylus pressure of 1,2g. This cartridge is considered to be the best among the others, available for this model range. Frequency range is 20 – 25000 Hz ±3 dB and distortion is lower than 1%. Wow and flutter is less than ±0.09% and rumble is better than 62dB. Beogram 3000 is easy to operate: you simply select the size of record you intend to play – 17, 25 or 30 – and press a button. The record-player automatically select the record speed, 33 or 45 rpm, and lower the pick-up into the first groove. When the record ends, the pick-up arm lift up, return to its resting position and the turntable switches off. Otherwise you could manually set the arm on your desired track.
The sound  is very rich with deep and wide soundstage, very good dynamics and superb vocals. There are chinch adapter to original DIN cables. The belt was replaced about 4 years ago and still good. A printed copy of operation manual and easy setup advices.
