Beautiful Furisode Kimono with gold embroidered chrysanthemum.

Furisode is a kimono with particularly long sleeves and is considered a formal kimono for young women. They are often brightly colored, ornately designed, and decorated with gold and embroidery.

The chrysanthemum pattern on kimonos represents longevity, good health, and protection from evil. It is also the national flower of Japan and is used in the imperial family's crest, so it is also a symbol of nobility and authority. Because of these connotations, chrysanthemums are often worn at coming-of-age ceremonies, weddings, and other important formal occasions.
