Stupendo portacandele in argento, realizzato a Milano, verso la metà del XIX secolo.

Realizzato con gusto neorinascimentale, base circolare con decorazioni tondeggianti a rilievo, fusto centrale a forma di animale mitologico, presa realizzata a forma di conchiglia e decori vegetali.

Sul bordo della base sono presenti i marchi territoriali della città di Milano usate tra il 1832 al 1872, e marchio del argentiere non identificato.

Raffinato oggetto elegantissimo nonostante i quasi 200 anni circa di vita, ideale per un collezionista di argenti antichi e per chi vuole un' importante arredo per la tavola durante le grandi occasioni.
