Claire Sorine

The Sorrel estate produces four Hermitage cuvées, complex and generous wines. The wines of the estate are particularly sought after and production is very limited (about 1,500 bottles per cuvée of white and 3 to 4,000 bottles for the cuvées of red).
Le Gréal is a blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Marsanne, but also a blend of 2 "flagship" plots of the appellation: the GREffieux (12-year-old vines) and the MéAL (50-year-old vines). The aging lasts between 18 and 24 months in barrels, and the wine is neither glued nor filtered. A very powerful wine, to be left to flourish for about ten years in the cellar to fully appreciate it. So still a little patience for this 2019 rated 19/20 by the RVF.
