Very rare original Rolex watch case "coffin", dating back to the 1940s - 1950s, intended for models such as the gold Oyster or Precision. The case is signed Rolex in green with a crown and elaborate swirl on the light green satin liner in the lid, and Geneve Suisse. The case opens to reveal the watch on a green velvet clip, in excellent condition for its age, with internal shaping for strap and case. Made for English and European markets.
