Jacques Etoile is a German watch manufacturer.
The watch company Jacques Etoile was founded on October 1, 1996 in Lörrach/Baden. While the father Horst Jakob, an experienced watchmaker, who in 2001 celebrated his 50-year master anniversary, works quite in the silent background at the technology and the models, his son Klaus maintains external relations, including business and customer contacts and trade fairs. Not to mention the Turkish wife of Klaus Jacob, whose name Yildiz (English Star, French Etoile) contributed to the naming of the brand. Klaus Jacob could secure a handful of beautiful old Valjoux column wheelchronograph movements that have been incorporated into the series Silverstone.

Description

To celebrate his 25 years in watch making, Klaus Jakob is introducing the first watch to bear his name, the Klaus Jakob 'Debut'.
Movement is an automatic ETA caliber 2824-2, finely finished to Chronometer specifications with a Glucydur Balance, a Nivarox One Hairspring, and adjusted to 5 positions.

The dial is hand crafted by Schätzle, in Weil am Rhein, Germany. The top quality blued hands come from Universo in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The strap is hand made by Graf, in Grenderich, Germany.

The German made stainless steel case measures 38mm and features an AR coated sapphire crystal and a screw-down display back.

Watch has minimal scratches due to being vintage in case, bezel, caseback and crystal. . nothing to worry about.
