Alexander Shorokhoff - Alexander Shorokhoff Dostoeivski Roulette Automatic - AS.FD23 - Men - 2005

Elegant men's Alexander Shorokhoff Fedor Dostoevsky AS.FD23 watch belongs to the Heritage model series . By creating the Fedor Dostoevsky model series, Alexander Shorokhov wanted to build an imaginary monument to this great 19th century world literature and at the same time an important psychologist. Dostoevsky was not only a great writer, but also a passionate gambler. With the same passion with which he wrote novels, he threw himself into gambling. In Baden-Baden, Germany, he lost his entire fortune. This gambling passion of this writer motivated A. Shorokhov to create the unique design of the Fedor Dostoevsky clock. The case of the Fedor Dostoevsky AS.FD23 is made of stainless steel. All models of this series are distinguished by a modern case design with gently rounded edges. Inside the case is an automatic mechanical movement 9060.SOPROD Automatik with the possibility of manual winding. The power reserve is 42 hours and its operation can be observed thanks to the transparent sapphire crystal dial. At position 6 is the day of the week indicator, and at position 3 is the power reserve indicator. The date window can be found at position 12. The beige guilloche dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. To make the model even more interesting, Shorokhov has placed the names of Dostoyevsky's most famous works and his logo on the dial, all in a single line forming the diagonal of the case. This makes the whole dial look harmoniously balanced. The water resistance of this model is set at 3 ATM, so the watch can come into contact with splashing water, for example, when washing hands or in the rain. The watch is completed with a leather strap made of alligator leather.
