Il celebre Thorens TD 166, classico con suono chiaro e stabile e carattere molto neutro. Le caratteristiche musicali sono incredibilmente buone.

Come si può vedere nelle foto, questo è un esemplare ben conservato con segni di usura molto leggeri.
Anche il coperchio è ancora in ottime condizioni.(con un piccolo segno e una piccola crepa, visibili in foto).

Il sottotelaio, costituito da giradischi e braccio,
è sospeso tramite 3 molle, il che significa che il lettore è meno influenzato dalle vibrazioni provenienti dal motore e dall'esterno. Questo è uno dei fattori che determina il suono straordinario per cui Thorens è così famoso.

Dotato di un bel elemento Philips GP400 con buona punta.
