Private collection, transfer of 2 unrivalled beautiful antique Chinese Dehua porcelain teacups.
Truly inherited from centuries of Chinese white porcelain, these are not a pair of ordinary Dehua porcelain cups, they hold the mystical meaning of Buddhism.
The cups are supported by a curved lotus leaf, which extends in veins, and leaning against the rim of the mouth there is a skeleton of a lotus flower that has yet to bloom quietly peeking out of its head.
The ancient handcrafted fabrication, rustic and elegant, warm and inviting to the touch, is a work of art and a unique tea set worthy of careful consideration.
I have always been quite certain that the lustre emitted by ancient Dehua porcelain does have a wonderful healing effect on the mood.
For those who are looking for genuine ancient Chinese Dehua porcelain objects, this is definitely an unmissable collecting opportunity.
It is amazingly well preserved, with only one innate kiln crack on the bottom of one of the cups, a very tiny trace that does not detract from its beauty as well as its functionality!
