Cadre rond couronne murale dorée s’inscrit dans la tradition décorative baroque et rococo, où l’abondance, la richesse des détails et la symbolique des fruits étaient mises en avant pour représenter la prospérité et la fertilité. Les grappes de raisins, grenades, pommes et feuillages rappellent les ornements des XVIIᵉ et XVIIIᵉ siècles, utilisés aussi bien dans les intérieurs aristocratiques que dans les églises pour symboliser l’abondance divine et terrestre.
Le travail en relief, avec ses volumes généreux, évoque également les moulures ornementales italiennes ou françaises, fréquemment dorées à la feuille pour renforcer l’effet de luxe.
