Empire style tea and coffee service, in silver metal with exotic wood handles. Hallmark on the bottom: ERCUIS. Set including 4 pieces, coffee maker, teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug/jug. The English tray is offered. Ovoid model with lion's paws, finely chiseled with palmettes, flowers and friezes of water leaves, eagle-headed beaks, blackened wooden handles, Ercuis hallmark (and others) from French Ercuis Goldsmiths from the 20th century. The model has a very marked Empire style with the following characteristics: Its support rests on a tripod base made up of lion paws rising in large palmettes at the level of the staples. The pouring spouts are elegantly sculpted in the shape of eagle heads, set on fluted barrels. Water leaf friezes decorate the beginnings of the necks and the edges of the lids, while seed fretels add subtle details. The pieces are in great condition, with perfectly preserved silvering and no deformation or denting. The interiors are clean in all elements. The hinges are in excellent condition. Take a close look at the photos, they adequately reflect the condition of the parts.
