1950s HB Quimper Table Lamp - Hand-Painted Breton Faience

A striking example of mid-century French craftsmanship, this HB Quimper table lamp blends traditional Breton ceramic artistry with functional charm. Hand-painted in vivid blues, oranges, and deep reds, it showcases the bold, raised slip-decoration typical of Quimper pottery, giving it both texture and regional identity.

The lamp’s surface features alternating geometric and floral motifs in high-relief, arranged in symmetrical vertical panels. The glaze has a beautiful glossy finish, enhancing the depth of the hand-applied designs. Despite two minor chips on the collar, the lamp remains a visually impactful collector's item.
