Etrange et captivante statuette Baoulé de Côte d'Ivoire. Il y a une presence dans cette oeuvre. Elle fait appel aux puissants esprits de la brousse Africaine. Le style est brut et archaïque. Celui lui donne une présence et une force unique. La statuette semble ancrée au sol avec son corps compact. Le profil est dynamique. La patine est ancienne, avec des restes de sang séché. Le bois est oxydé. Une belle pièce de collection ancienne et authentique. Circa 1950.
