Very rare Vintage Telefunken from 1979. Don't let the looks fool you, this beast will blow you away by it's musical performance! I heard a lot of decks, but I fell instantly in love with this machine. It's incredible in construction, operation and SOUND! It was a lot of work to refurbish it, but it works flawlessly again. General Description The TC 750 was the top cassette deck of Telefunken's 1978/79 Hifi line. Its innards are similar to the TC 650 resp. HC 3000, with two important additions: The mechanical drive controls were replaced with solenoids and an electronic drive control The capstan wheel is directly driven by a motor, eliminating the flywheel and belt. The electronic drive control also allowed a socket for a remote control. Telefunken's original offering was the FB 750 cable-bound remote control, also used for the later CC 20. The TC 750 however also happily cooperates with the tape control output of the RP 300, if one connects them with a 1:1-connected DIN-7 cable. The absence of a belt greatly enhances the reliability of the whole drive.
