Seltene Reliquien-Autentik von 1764 – unterzeichnet von Carolus Soderini, Kanoniker der Petersbasilika in Rom

Angeboten wird ein originales, datiertes Dokument vom 20. April 1764, ausgestellt und eigenhändig unterzeichnet von Carolus (Carlo) Soderini, Kanoniker der Sacrosancta Basilica Principis Apostolorum (Petersbasilika) in Rom.

Das Schriftstück bestätigt die Echtheit und Verehrung von Reliquien, die mit der Passion Christi verbunden sind – darunter Partikel des Heiligen Kreuzes und der Heiligen Lanze –, welche in thecae mit päpstlichen Bleisiegeln eingeschlossen sind.

Der Text ist in Latein abgefasst, mit handschriftlichen Ergänzungen und originalem Wachssiegel.

Die Familie Soderini, ein bedeutendes Florentiner Adelsgeschlecht, spielte in Rom eine wichtige kirchliche und kulturelle Rolle. Später wurde die Cybo-Kapelle (Santa Maria del Popolo, Rom) von Graf Lorenzo Soderini übernommen und 1825 restauriert.

Dieses Dokument ist ein außergewöhnliches Zeugnis barocker Reliquienfrömmigkeit und zugleich ein Stück römischer Familien- und Kirchengeschichte.
