Grande Crocifisso da tavolo in noce massello di eccezionale qualità con Cristo in bronzo dorato — Italia, ca. 1850 (stile Napoleone III / Secondo Impero)

Raffinato crocifisso da mensa realizzato in noce massello selezionato, caratterizzato da una tornitura di altissima qualità e da venature naturali particolarmente ricche e cangianti, indice di legno pieno e pregiato.
La croce, tornita e a sezione piena, sostiene un Cristo in bronzo dorato, modellato con grande cura nei dettagli anatomici e conservato con bella patina d’epoca.
La base imponente a più ordini con tre piedini torniti esprime la raffinatezza dello stile Napoleone III / Secondo Impero e dona equilibrio e presenza scultorea al manufatto.
Finitura originale a gommalacca; è visibile una crepa di assestamento da seccatura (come da foto), caratteristica naturale dei manufatti antichi, che non compromette stabilità né valore.
