Unique Kodak "Courtesy Camera" . Special issue of a PartyStar Kodamatic instand camera. Presumebly used by Kodak to give in loan for special events. Camera looks like almost new and included is an unused Instant Color film and one partly used is in the camera. In the mid-1970s, Kodak launched its Instant Camera, an instant camera that bore many similarities to Polaroid. After nearly 10 years of litigation, Polaroid won the lawsuits alleging infringement of its patents, and Kodak was ordered to cease production of cameras and film based on this principle. Kodak was also ordered to compensate the owners of the cameras.
