Il faudra attendre 1943 pour la sortie de l'édition américaine qui passe, à tort, pour la première.
Livre de référence des permaculteurs et des maraichers, passionnés et professionnels d'agriculture biologique, le modèle de compostage est toujours valable.
il est l'héritage de 8000 ans d'agriculture intelligente.
Le livre est illustré de 11 graphiques en noir et blanc, de schémas et de 13 planches photographiques.
Planches originales en tissu vert de l'éditeur, titre doré et nom de l'auteur au dos.
Jaquette crème d'origine en étage d'usage avec lettrage vert sur le devant et couverture, légère pliure sur la tranche de la reliure (voir photo) sinon le reste est en très bon état, l'intérieur est impeccable, complet.
