Estos dos tarros de almacenaje son un encantador ejemplo del diseño utilitario con elegancia que caracterizó la época victoriana. Fabricados en metal, presentan una forma cilíndrica con tapas ligeramente abombadas, rematadas por pequeños pomos decorativos que facilitan su apertura. El acabado envejecido y la pátina natural del tiempo les confieren un carácter auténtico, propio de objetos que han sido usados y apreciados durante generaciones.

Cada tarro está adornado con una banda decorativa en el centro, y cuentan con un espacio frontal destinado a etiquetas, una práctica común en recipientes de cocina de la época para identificar su contenido, como té, café o azúcar. Uno de ellos conserva la inscripción “Kona”, posiblemente haciendo referencia a una variedad de café, mientras que el otro muestra signos de desgaste en la etiqueta, lo que añade a su encanto histórico.

Estas piezas no solo servían como contenedores funcionales, sino que también aportaban un toque decorativo a las alacenas victorianas, donde incluso los objetos cotidianos eran diseñados con atención al detalle y buen gusto. Hoy, conservan su valor como elementos decorativos, evocando una época en la que lo doméstico también era bello.
