Daniel Spoerri (1930 in Galați, Rumänien) ist ein schweizerisch-rumänischer Künstler, der als Mitbegründer der Eat Art und wichtiger Vertreter der Nouvelle Réalisme internationale Bekanntheit erlangte. 

Berühmt wurde er vor allem durch seine sogenannten „Fallenbilder“ (Tableaux pièges) – arrangierte Alltagsgegenstände, oft Überreste von Mahlzeiten, die er fixierte und an die Wand brachte, wodurch flüchtige Momente konserviert wurden. 

Spoerris Werk bewegt sich zwischen Objektkunst, Assemblage und Performance und reflektiert auf spielerische Weise Themen wie Vergänglichkeit, Zufall und Konsum. Neben seiner künstlerischen Tätigkeit war Spoerri auch als Tänzer, Regisseur und Verleger aktiv.
