Beautiful antique wall clock by Lenzkirch, dating to around 1918–1919, as confirmed by the serial number 940253. The movement is clearly signed with the Lenzkirch stamp and “1 Million” series mark. This is a fine example of an early 20th-century German cabinet clock, housed in a solid wooden case with a rounded top and lower gallery. The silvered dial has Arabic numerals and measures 24 cm (9.4") in diameter. The clock runs well and keeps time. It is equipped with a gong, but currently the striking mechanism is not functioning. It may be possible to restore it, but I am offering it as not striking.
