Citizen - Hi-Line Date, 23 Jewels Parashock, 37 mm - No Reserve Price - HLD15801 - Men - 1963

Citizen Hi-Line Date (Ref. HLD15801) — Citizen’s thin, high-grade dress line developed from the celebrated Deluxe of the late 1950s. In the early 1960s the Hi-Line answered the era’s thin-watch race (Seiko’s Gold Feather being the rival) and added upscale specifications; this example carries the classic 23-jewel Parashock hand-wind movement. The silver sunburst dial with applied gold baton markers and a framed date at 3 o’clock delivers the clean mid-’60s Citizen look. Slim gold-plated case marked C.G.P. with long lugs; 37.0 mm across and 10.0 mm thick—elegant wrist presence without bulk. Caseback is correctly engraved STAR / C.G.P. / HLD15801 with serial 30704348. Fitted with a new 18 mm leather strap. Exterior is cleaned and presents well as shown in the photos.
