Fabulous reprint of Ihei Kimura's famous book about Paris in the 1950s. Kimura was friends with Cartier-Bresson and arrived in Paris in the early 1950s with unique colour film. Apart from the first edition published in 1970, which is in Parr's volume 1 of the photobook, there have been a couple of reprints: a softcover that didn't work so well, a 2016 edition where the images had taken on a digital look, which ruined the spell. This edition for us is the best one. It has more images than the original, they have a lustre that the original doesn't and it is just gorgeously printed. Highly recommended.
