You are bidding on a very fine and rare antique italian violin. The instrument is in ready to play condition with tears and wears but no visible cracks. The label says: Dominicus Busani fecit Anno 1780 Venetiis.  
The violin has an excellent straight medium grained spruce of the top and two pieces back of softly flamed maple with matched sides and scroll with black stripes. The whole length of the violin is 594 mm and the back 362 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 163 mm; middle bouts: 110 mm; lower bouts: 205 mm. The sound of this instrument is of a charming character, rich and beautiful colors, depth and great carrying power. Don't hesitate to contact me for any questions. Shipping worldwide!
