Early XXth Century damask table linen with 2 sets of initials C.L - Textile - 2.3 m - 2 m
An excellent damask table linen in pure and fine structured linen.
It is not often that I can get 2 meters wide.
It is versatile as you can also deck the dining room table the other way round
so that the initials are horizontal instead of vertical.
Both ways you can get your flower decoration in between the initials.
The initials C.L. are intertwined and would have been a marriage present.
The white letter C.is even outlined in red .
The top is covered with single floral decoration.
The ends and sides have a arabesque decoration of flowers .
The centre has an oval piece framed with leaf compostions.
It is a good detailed table linen and has been well designed.
