Interesting collection of classic Romanian stamps, starting from the Principality of Wallachia and Moldavia (United Principalities, 1864) up to the late 19th century.
Includes early issues such as:
Prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza and Prince Carol I portraits (various denominations)
Several types with “FRANCO” and “SCRISOREI” overprints
Many items bearing different postmarks (BUCURESCI, IASI, GALATI, etc.)
Some stamps show signs of age and mixed preservation (used/hinged, some small faults), but overall a nice representative lot for the classic Romanian period, ideal for study or for a collector expanding their 19th-century Europe section.
