Dans L’Énigme du Désir, le corps féminin se déploie dans une posture suspendue, où l’anatomie semble se dédoubler et se troubler. Ce glissement subtil éloigne l’image du réalisme pour l’ouvrir au territoire du rêve, là où le désir se fait énigme.

La présence du cheval introduit une dimension totémique : il incarne la force instinctive, l’énergie vitale et le souffle archaïque du désir. À ses côtés, le corps humain prend une intensité nouvelle, comme s’il dialoguait silencieusement avec une part sauvage et ancestrale de lui-même.

L’œuvre s’offre ainsi comme une contemplation symbolique : une rencontre entre l’élan vital et la fragilité humaine, entre l’animalité et la sensualité, dans un équilibre délicat et mystérieux.

Chaque pièce de cette série prend vie à travers un processus hybride unique.
À partir de photographies originales, l’artiste utilise la composition numérique et l’intervention par intelligence artificielle comme outil exploratoire. La dernière étape, entièrement retravaillée manuellement, révèle textures, contrastes et tonalités pour offrir une œuvre d’une aura singulière.

Ce procédé confère à l’image une identité double : héritage argentique dans sa matérialité et vision surréaliste dans sa forme.

✧ À propos de l’artiste

Né à La Havane en 1972, Frank G. Alonso est un artiste cubano-espagnol dont le parcours traverse le cinéma, la photographie et l’art numérique. Formé à Madrid dans les écoles de cinéma et d’image, il a collaboré, entre autres, avec Pedro Almodóvar (Parle avec Elle) et Bertrand Fèvre (César 1989), ainsi qu’avec plusieurs réalisateurs reconnus sur des productions cinématographiques et télévisuelles.
Il a également travaillé de nombreuses années dans la publicité pour la télévision, développant une maîtrise de l’image qui nourrit aujourd’hui sa recherche artistique.

Installé à Arles depuis 2009, il fonde en 2019 l’Atelier Alonso, dédié au tirage Fine Art. Son œuvre, marquée par une esthétique cinématographique et une recherche poétique, explore le corps, le désir et la mémoire à travers une approche hybride mêlant photographie, retouche numérique et intelligence artificielle. Chaque image devient une métaphore visuelle, entre sculpture intemporelle et atmosphère onirique.

Son œuvre, exposée dans des collections privées à l’international (France, Espagne, Belgique, Pays-Bas, Italie, Allemagne, États-Unis, Thaïlande, Autriche, Grèce, Portugal), témoigne de sa reconnaissance croissante sur la scène artistique contemporaine.
