Herend – ‘Queen Victoria’ porseleinen doosje – tweede helft 20e eeuw

Zeldzaam elegant en verfijnd van detail: dit porseleinen doosje uit de ‘Queen Victoria’ collectie van Herend straalt tijdloze klasse uit. Het ontwerp, dat zijn naam ontleent aan koningin Victoria van Groot-Brittannië – die in 1851 persoonlijk porselein van Herend selecteerde op de Wereldtentoonstelling in Londen – is een van de meest iconische decors van deze befaamde Hongaarse porseleinfabrikant.

Dit specifieke exemplaar, vervaardigd in de tweede helft van de 20e eeuw, toont het kenmerkende bloem- en vlinderdecor in levendige kleuren, omlijst door een zachte groene rand. Elk detail is met de hand aangebracht door meesterschilders van Herend, en subtiel verfraaid met accenten in fijn bladgoud – een teken van luxe én ambacht.

Het doosje is ideaal voor het bewaren van kleine sieraden of andere kostbaarheden, maar is op zichzelf al een decoratief object met historische lading. Het verkeert in goede staat, met lichte gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd, maar behoudt zijn volledige charme en presentatie.

Een prachtig stukje Europese porseleintraditie, geliefd door vorsten en verzamelaars – en nu beschikbaar voor een nieuwe eigenaar met oog voor detail en geschiedenis.
