Prachtige vintage modernistische ring in zilver.

Deze ring is van de Nederlandse designer Menno Meijer..
Menno Meijer komt uit een familie van edelsmeden en ging naar de vakschool in Schoonhoven en in Pforzheim (Duitsland).

Nadien nam hij het familiebedrijf over en maakte hij snel naam als edelsmid met zijn opvallende en vernieuwende ontwerpen in de tijdsgeest.

Menno Meijer was ook actief als beeldhouwer en overleed in 2022.

In de collectie van het Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam zijn verschillende sieraden van Menno Meijer opgenomen. Dit geeft aan hoe belangrijk zijn invloed was.

Deze ring heeft een abstract model uit de brutalistische tijdsperiode.
