Biographie de l'artiste : 
Née en 1989, d'origines française, autrichienne et tchèque, Agathe Toman est une artiste pluridisciplinaire française dont le talent s'étend de la peinture à la poésie, en passant par le dessin et la photographie. Établie entre Hossegor et Paris, Agathe s'affirme comme une figure montante de la scène artistique contemporaine, appréciée tant sur la scène nationale qu'internationale.

Cotée chez Sotheby's depuis 2021, ses œuvres ont été mises aux enchères à trois reprises, témoignant de son ascension rapide et de son acceptation dans les cercles d'art prestigieux. Ses contributions remarquables à divers salons, notamment à Art Paris, lui ont valu un immense succès, consolidant sa présence dans de nombreuses collections privées à travers le monde.

La palette de Agathe favorise les nuances profondes de noir et de bleu, couleurs qui sont l'essence de sa création. Ses peintures utilisent des pigments purs et des acryliques d'une intensité renversante, tandis que ses dessins, réalisés au stylo à bille Bic, captivent par leur caractère hypnotisant. "MA VISION :

Mon travail porte sur la notion des liens entre la psyché et le corporel.
Leurs modes de fonctionnements d’ensemble au sein de leurs environnements, des connexions qu’ils construisent ainsi que sur l’élaboration des vibrations dicibles et indicibles qui en naissent.
J’explore des thèmes tels que l'identité, la mémoire, la nature humaine et la relation entre l'individu et son environnement. Mes œuvres sont empreintes d'une profondeur émotionnelle et d'une certaine tension, invitant le spectateur à une réflexion introspective.

J’inscris cette volonté dans la matérialité même de mes œuvres : résolument abstraites, en monochromes, nuancées, là où l’obscurité cohabite avec la clarté, le bleu crépite au contact du noir, ou s’illumine seul. Nous sommes dans l’absence/présence de la lumière.
Mes peintures, mes dessins, et mes photographies sont chacune une absolue création, déliée de toute imitation.

Une accointance minutieuse entre mes mains et les pigments, les fusains, le stylo-bille et les peintures appliquées sur le papier ou sur la toile. Mes techniques d’exécution, jamais ne se répètent, et le résultat en est toujours étranger. Je travaille ainsi à fixer le mouvement de la matière, la densité de la lumière, à y insuffler de moi, pour l’élaboration de votre souvenir.
Il y a toujours quelque chose que l’on ne soupçonnait pas. Quelque chose d’inattendu. Cet indicible.
L’émergence d’une empreinte décidément unique, mes œuvres sont des autoportraits, portraits de parties de moi.

Je dis que mes créations sont « des matérialisations d’états psychiques », des paysages humains, des fils de mon âme, invitant celles des autres à s’y fondre.
Leur valeur n’est pas esthétique, elle réside dans les vibrations que mes œuvres créent chez le regardeur. Ce sont deux sensibilités qui se rencontrent et non plus deux individualités séparées. C’est un processus qui est vivant. Je les considère comme des êtres actifs, créant des liens inédits entre Nous. Le regardeur devient lui aussi créateur de l’œuvre, elle finit de prendre vie.
J’engage à un cheminement vers une nouvelle vision de son Être, au monde, à soi, et aux autres.

Si le regardeur se laisse à présent inviter, ce sont des résonances psychiques qui concordent et s’accordent en une même symphonie, un dialogue commence à s’installer. Une anamorphose de son âme se dessine, insaisissable reflet. C’est une expérience poétique.
Une présence intense et puissante. Une expérience exigeante.

Je veux que mes œuvres affinent les esprits humains, aiguisent les âmes et que les émotions y trouvent un écho, que des mots y résonnent.
Ce qui est important, c’est ce que l’oeuvre mobilise en nous, et le résultat de cette rencontre."
