backgammon caja de lujo tapizado por dentro en cuero gris y marrón se ha jugado dos veces 
. Es un juego de mesa para dos jugadores que combina el azar con la estrategia. 
El objetivo es mover las 15 fichas de un jugador por el tablero, en dirección opuesta a las del oponente, y sacarlas antes que él. 
El tablero tiene 24 triángulos estrechos llamados "puntos", agrupados en cuatro cuadrantes. 
Los movimientos se determinan lanzando dos dados. 
Si un jugador tiene una sola ficha en un punto, el oponente puede "comérsela" moviendo una de sus fichas a ese mismo punto. La ficha comida se coloca en la "barra" central y debe volver a entrar en el juego antes de que el jugador pueda mover otras fichas.
