Vintage houten Schweppes krat uit 1971.

Het merk werd in 1783 opgericht door Johann Jacob Schweppe in Genève, die oorspronkelijk koolzuurhoudend water verkocht aan artsen. In 1792 verplaatste hij het bedrijf naar Londen, en het merk werd bekend door zijn prominentie tijdens de Great Exhibition in 1851, waar een fontein van Schweppes werd getoond. Het bedrijf is hofleverancier in het Verenigd Koninkrijk

Dit krat diende ooit voor het vervoer van frisdrank flessen. Nu is het een mooi item dat bijvoorbeeld kan dienen als drankenkabinet voor Gin flessen.
