Among Robert Capa's most famous photographs of painter Pablo Picasso are those taken in 1948, which portray the artist in Golfe-Juan, France.
One of the most famous shows him on the beach, holding a beach umbrella as a "page boy" for his partner, Françoise Gilot.

Description: In one of the most evocative images, Picasso, then 67, playfully holds a large beach umbrella, while Gilot, who was 27, strolls beside him. In other shots, the couple appears together with Picasso's nephew.

This is an original silver gelatin photographic print made by Magnum Laboratories. Normally called "agency copy", this photographic print is made from the original negative. The back of the print may contains various information like caption and photographer stamp (see back photo and detail). 

This print is not intended for museum display but remain an interesting historical document of a journalistic work.
