Foursquare Fidelitas is a single blended rum from the Foursquare distillery, the result of a collaboration between Luca Gargano and Richard Seale. It is the oldest rum ever produced by Foursquare, aged for a total of 20 years, 19 of which in ex-Bourbon casks and 1 in ex-Marsala casks. Distillation: The rum was distilled in 2004 in both pot stills and Coffey stills. Ageing: Ageing took place in a tropical climate, first in ex-Bourbon barrels and then in ex-Marsala barrels, giving the rum smoothness and complexity. Foursquare Fidelitas was produced in a limited edition of 2,160 bottles and bottled at full strength (55%). It is a rum with a rich aromatic profile, with notes of dried fruit, candied citrus, sweet spices and noble woods, with a warm and enveloping finish. The collaboration between Gargano and Seale has led to the creation of several releases of Foursquare, starting with Foursquare 2006. This collaboration is based on a shared vision of transparency, authenticity and quality in the world of rum.
