Decorative wall plate in glazed earthenware.

Makkum Royal Ceramics Factory, the Netherlands. This is the oldest ceramics factory in the Netherlands, founded in the 17th century.

Handmade and hand-painted, with traditional polychrome flower and bird decoration in the center.

Crowned coat of arms with the Makkum inscription in underglaze cobalt blue (authentic signature). Also with hand-painted initials by the artisan.

Typical Frisian style with wavy edges and multicolored floral motifs.

Approx. mid-20th century, due to the style and glaze.

Dimensions: 30 cm.

Good condition, with slight wear and small workshop imperfections on the reverse, normal in handcrafted pieces.
