2 Magnificent Medals of the Soviet Union dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the Battle of Kursk (the Battle of the Kursk Bulge) in the summer of 1943, which resulted in a radical turning point in the Second World War. The table medal is made of bronze. Obverse: Battalion Commander "Kombat" (a sculptural image of the famous Battalion Commander raising his subordinates to attack the Nazis. In the background are Soviet T-34-85 tanks going on the attack. Reverse: Map of the largest tank battle in the history of mankind, near the village of Prokhorovka, which resulted in the complete defeat of the German Panzer Group.
