Knut Hansen Dry Gin: A Nordic Adventure from Hamburg

Discover Knut Hansen Dry Gin, the premium spirit from the Hamburg Distilling Company, inspired by the legendary sailor Knut Hansen, a blue-eyed adventurer with tattoos and a perfectly groomed beard, who roamed the seas in search of freedom and discovery.

Created in 2017 by Kaspar Kagedorn and Martin Spieker, this Nordic gin is quadruple-distilled in small batches with a focus on energy efficiency, using 14 sustainable, regionally sourced botanicals: classic juniper, apples from the German countryside, basil and cucumber from Hamburg greenhouses, complemented by fresh citrus and delicate floral notes.

The result is a seductive herbal aroma with hints of crisp cucumber and vibrant basil; a balanced, smooth, and citrus-forward palate, finishing dry and adventurous — evoking the sea breeze itself.

Bottled in unique handcrafted ceramic, featuring glowing blue eyes under UV light, this gin is perfect for a refreshing G&T with lime and mint, or a Nordic-style Martini (42% ABV).
