Prestigiosa cornice doppia vintage, realizzata in sterling dal famoso orafo Mario Buccellati, padre di Gianmaria Buccellati e Federico Buccellati. 
Mario Buccellati fu il fondatore della prima oreficeria "Buccellati".
La cornice risale agli anni 30-40, è in ottime condizioni.
Oggetti di questo genere non sono facilmente trovabili in commercio.
La cornice ha la doppia firma dell'orafo, sulla base del piedistallo che la tiene in piedi e sul lato della cornice. Entrambe le firme sono visibili dalle foto.
Oggetto da collezione e raro, presente in molti cataloghi d’asta.
Il peso della cornice, comprensivo dei due piccoli vetri, è di 380 grammi
La cornice presentata in questo lotto è quasi del tutto introvabile, lo stesso modello, ma a cornice singola e non doppia si può trovare venduto in alcune case d'asta, questo attribuisce rarità a questo lotto.

La scatola in foto è di Federico Buccellati, non è la scatola originale della cornice.
