Piękna,duża muszla z operculum Chicoreus Ramosus-popularna nazwa ramure murex lub rozgałęziony mureks, to gatunek drapieżnego ślimaka morskiego, mięczaka ślimaka morskiego z rodziny Muricidae, ślimaków murex. C. ramosus ma dużą, solidną, bardzo wytrzymałą i ciężką skorupę. Ma stosunkowo kulisty zarys, posiada krótką iglicę , lekko napompowany okółek ciała i umiarkowanie długi kanał syfonowy . Jedną z najbardziej uderzających ozdób są rzucające się w oczy, przypominające liście, zakrzywione, puste cyfry. Przedstawia również trzy żylaki osiowe kręgosłupa na okółek, z dwoma wydłużonymi węzłami między nimi. Zewnętrznie muszla jest koloru od białego do jasnobrązowego, z białą aperturą, zazwyczaj różową w kierunku wewnętrznej krawędzi, zewnętrznej warżki i kolumelli.Wymiary-165/190/240mm.Gorąco polecam kolekcjonerom i dekoratorom wnętrz.
