Don Papa Rum Sherry Cask 0.7l 45% Philippine Ron with a beautiful gift tin Nose: Pleasant aroma of raisins. Palate: Light sweetness with notes of plums, dark chocolate, and ripe figs. Don Papa Sherry Cask is a column-stilled molasses rum that was first aged for four years in ex-bourbon American white oak casks before being further aged for 18 months in four different Spanish sherry casks of the Fino, Pedro Ximenez, Cream, and Palo Cortado varieties. The mature distillates from these four casks were then carefully blended by the master blender to create a distinctive rum. It is bottled at 45% ABV. Soft and fruity on the nose with hints of raisins, the rum delights on the palate with a full body and a delicate sweetness of plums, dark chocolate, and ripe figs. The long finish is characterized by its velvety flavor profile.
