The master distiller at Don Papa selected exclusively hand-picked oak barrels for the Don Papa Rare Cask. The barrels were made of white oak and are toasted on the inside. The toasting process releases enormous amounts of aroma. After several years of aging, the rum is then bottled in 0.7 liter rum bottles at a cask strength of 50.5% ABV.
