Florent Fressier

Vincent van Oijen (1960) is een Nederlandse kunstenaar uit Someren en opgeleid aan de Academie St. Joost in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Hij begon zijn carrière als graficus, gespecialiseerd in de kleurenhoutsnede, waarin hij de complexe “verloren materiaal”-techniek perfectioneerde.

Zijn werk kenmerkt zich door zorgvuldige gelaagdheid, verfijnde kleurwerking en balans tussen abstractie en herkenbare vormen. Sinds 2009 richt hij zich ook op schilderijen en aquarellen, vaak geïnspireerd door natuur en landschap.

Van Oijen won diverse prijzen, waaronder de Nederlandse Grafiekprijs (1992), en zijn werk bevindt zich in musea en collecties in binnen- en buitenland.

Het werk is bij ons in de galerie te bezichtigen. Verder beschikt Art Dumay over een lijstenmakerij (dit jaar hun 85 jarige jubileum) en een restauratieatelier. Dus mocht u hiervan gebruik willen maken dan horen wij het uiteraard graag.
