Empire stijl-secrétaire – begin 20e eeuw – mahoniehout met bronsbeslag

Prachtige Empire-secrétaire, vermoedelijk afkomstig uit Frankrijk of Nederland, daterend uit het begin van de 19e eeuw (ca. 1900's).

De kast is uitgevoerd in massief mahoniehout met karakteristieke bronzen beslagplaten in ovale vorm met lauwerkransmotief. De zwarte zuilen met vergulde kapitelen aan weerszijden geven het meubel de klassieke Empire-uitstraling.

Achter het neerklapbare schrijfblad (voorzien van groen vilt) schuilt een fijn afgewerkt interieur met meerdere kleine laden en vakjes — ideaal voor documenten of schrijfgerei.
Onderaan drie ruime laden met originele sloten en beslag.

Conditie:
Goede, stevige staat voor de leeftijd. Enkele gebruikssporen en kleine beschadigingen passend bij de ouderdom. 
Periode: Empire, begin 19e eeuw
Materiaal: Mahoniehout, messing/brons
