Prachtige set van twee keramische kandelaren, met de hand beschilderd in levendige tinten kobaltblauw, geel en groen. Het decor toont grote zonnebloemen en sierlijke gebogen armen, uitgevoerd in een glanzende glazuurlaag. Elke kandelaar biedt plaats aan drie kaarsen en vormt een opvallend middelpunt op tafel, dressoir of schouw.

Waarschijnlijk vervaardigd in Zuid-Europa (Spanje of Portugal) in de late 20e eeuw. De combinatie van vakmanschap en kleurgebruik geeft de stukken een warme, mediterrane uitstraling. Beide in uitstekende vintage staat, met slechts lichte gebruikssporen passend bij de leeftijd.
