Ausgestattet ist sie mit dem klassischen Leitz Elmar 50mm f/3.5 (klappbar), einem der ikonischsten Leica-Objektive.

Diese Leica II war die erste Leica mit gekuppeltem Entfernungsmesser und machte Leica berühmt als Werkzeug für Reportage- und Straßenfotografie.
