Garrido 14 inch library globe. De globe is in de jaren 1960 gemaakt in Argentinië.
Oude globes van Garrido zijn erg zeldzaam, en al helemaal in de vorm van een bibliotheek globe.
De globe is gemaakt van twee halve blikken bollen, beplakt met geren (kaart segmenten) van papier.
De globe vertoond de voor zijn leeftijd gebruikelijke tanden des tijds. Onder andere zijn de twee helften van de bol ooit van elkaar losgeraakt en opnieuw geplakt met tape en vertoond het kaartblad enkele vochtplekken.
Al met al een unieke kans om een zeldzame oude Argentijnse bibliotheek globe te bemachtigen.
Kijk aandachtig naar de foto's, ze vormen een integraal onderdeel van de beschrijving.
