Francisco Álvarez

This is a factory made model of a  jet fighter airplane.
This is the type of model that was used as a presentation model by an aircraft manufacturer. unfortunately no markings. So a nice research item for the real aviation enthousiast.
At first glance it looks like a  Hawker Hunter Siddeley as the wing shape and body look similar but the air intake and the ailerons look different.
Definitely NOT a toy or reproduction
On its original stand, it has a threaded part to attach it to the airplane.
Sizes : wingspan   13 cm    length  18   cm  height 4 cm   and height on stand    16 cm   
weight  226  gram
The jet propulsion engine is also in very good condition. It is made of aluminium and has been stylized without any small parts. the inlet has a brass part.  
It is mounted on a wooden base.   There may have been a small identification plaque on the wooden base but this has been lost over the past 50 years.

Both are in very good condition. very small signs of wear due to age.

From the estate of a life long airforce airman so it may have been a plane and engine he worked on.
