Glass table lamp with LED

SuperWire is the first line of modular lamps designed by Formafantasma for Flos. A magical and poetic project with an essential design, yet with a strong stage presence, recalling the work of the great glassmakers of the last century. Made of flat glass and polished aluminum, its design originated from the development of a customized light source that emits a warm and uniform light. Consisting of one or more flat glass hexagons connected by a polished aluminum element, SuperWire illuminates its entire surface thanks to a new source developed by Flos's R&D team: a thin, flexible LED strip, up to one meter long, that emits a warm, uniform light along its entire length. This innovative solution in the field of LED technology can be easily removed for replacement or repair. This tabletop version consists of a single module 45 cm tall, topped with a hexagonal glass cover.
