Intrigante statuette Fon du Nigeria. Il s'agit de la représentation d'un squelette. L'expression du visage est captivante et énigmatique. Il nous fixe avec ses grands yeux vides accompagné d'un sourire étrange. Il semble vivant malgré sa condition de squelette en bois. Le corps est tendu, le buste en avant, en position défensive. Il tient une épée dans sa main. Il est recouverts de pigments blanc et d'offrandes diverses. Des plumes ornent son crâne. C'est un objet avec beaucoup de présence. Fentes et accidents, vendu en l'état, voir photos. Une belle pièce de collection ancienne et authentique, circa 1960.
