Icono de San Pedro — Puerta de iconostasio, finales del siglo XVIII

Técnica: temple al huevo y pan de oro sobre tabla de madera.
Dimensiones: 101 × 39,5 × 3 cm.
Procedencia: escuela rusa, ca. 1880.

Magnífico icono de San Pedro Apóstol, perteneciente originalmente a una puerta lateral de iconostasio ortodoxo (probablemente la derecha). El santo aparece de pie, en actitud orante, con las llaves del Reino en la mano izquierda y la diestra alzada en gesto de bendición. Su rostro sereno y la cuidada representación del cabello y barba revelan un estilo de transición entre el tardobarroco y el neoclasicismo ruso.

El fondo, en pan de oro bruñido con ornamentaciones incisas y punteadas, enmarca la figura con un halo de sacralidad. Las vestiduras, en tonos azul profundo y rosáceo, conservan restos de veladuras originales, pese a las pérdidas y craquelados propios del tiempo.

El soporte, una tabla de madera de una sola pieza con travesaños posteriores, presenta galerías de xilófagos tratadas y erradicadas mediante proceso conservativo profesional, garantizando su estabilidad estructural.

La pintura muestra oxidaciones y lagunas puntuales, pero mantiene su lectura completa y autenticidad sin intervenciones recientes. El reverso conserva su pátina original, testimonio del uso litúrgico.

Atribución y datación:

Escuela rusa, finales del siglo XIX (ca. 1880).
Estilo tardobarroco con influencias neoclásicas, característico del periodo de transición hacia la iconografía académica imperial.

Estado de conservación:

Desgastes y pérdidas superficiales, restauración preventiva con tratamiento antixilófago completado y efectivo.
